The Council for Standards in Human Service Education (CSHSE) was established in 1979 to give focus and direction to education and training in mental health and human services throughout the United States. CSHSE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
CSHSE is committed to improving the quality, consistency, and relevance of human service education programs and assuring best practices in Human Service Education through evidence-based standards and a peer-review accreditation process.
